New release, two bug fixes:
- A syncing problem with Exchange servers;
- Outgoing email problems with some very fussy SMTP servers. |

I have just posted a new version which includes the facility for automatic trial extension. Please update or the previous version will expire.
The new version also includes a fix in the data in/out counting which ensures that outgoing email is included in this count. |

MAPI connection to Pocket Outlook no longer persistent. This might solve some instability problems on the o2 atom and might speed up the sending of email on all WM5 phones.
Further device ID generation fixes for CDMA devices
12/3/06
Memory corruption bug fix in MAPI email body code.
Separation of beta from release.
Deleted mail copied to specified folder.
Sent mail uploaded to IMAP server.
Failed sending of messages triggers 5 minute delay before retrying. |

This one fixes the HTML email problem that some of you complained about long long ago...

Fix to BASE64 decoding code.
Date set correctly in outgoing email.
Log in local time rather than UTC
Implemented full body structure parsing so as to provide correct parsing of HTML and TEXT messages. |

Fixed base64 vs BASE64 (and various other case-related issues) detection for attachments and message bodies.
Fixed expunge wrongly triggered under certain circumstances.
Increased time-outs for some commands to cope with large attachments. |

Secure port connection for both incoming and outgoing email (warning: at present the certificate is not verified during the handshaking although the transactions are correctly encrypted).
Non-standard port selecting for incoming and outgoing email.
Fix to vgsmail_setup allowing blank folders to be set for trash and sent email.
Returned to persistent MAPI connection as the non-persistent fix didnt seem to make much difference and it was potentially slower.
Attempted notification fix for some devices (lack of notification). |
