I have just uploaded a release. If you upgrade now you MUST upgrade both transport and client otherwise I have a feeling you'll be seeing lots of crashes.
This version doesn't have any particularly exciting new features but I strongly recommend upgrading as it does appear to be much more stable. There were previously some issues under WM5 which made pOutlook a bit unstable whilst the vgsmail client was uploading email; these appear to have gone. The other issues with sent mail not being sent should also be gone.
When you send email you will now get a notification to tell you that it has been queued. From that point onwards it should be completely ok to close down pOutlook and turn off the phone; the message will be sent in the background. |

| SMTP bug fix. Only the client needs to be installed and don't bother if you don't have any outoing email problems. |

Minor release as I begin to tie up loose ends:
- Code-page support in the email body now fixed (I believe). Note that this is NOT fixed in subject lines etc.
- Email servers can now be set using unqualified IP addresses. |

Very minor release which fixes the outgoing 'from' line in sent email (which only contained the email address and not the full name under WM5).
As you will have noticed, I am deliberately stabilising the current versions ready for a release which will hopefully be next week. The only remaining major change before this release will be support for the 'synchronise only the last N days' feature.
In the meantime I will look into the smaller and less significant bugs which have been reported here. |

I have just uploaded a new version. Unfortunately it doesn't include the last major change I was hoping to make before the official v1.0 release, but it does include much of the background infrastructure changes. More importantly, you will need to upgrade as the old version expires today at midday . Apologies for the late notice... |

| Apologies if you downloaded the earlier version (about 1/2 hour ago); I uploaded a slightly incorrect release and I think it might crash from time to time. If you have problems, I have now uploaded the correct release. If you don't have problems, there will be a more major release in the next day or two so ignore this fix. |

Another release available now. The changes:
- A few bug fixes
- The option to only sync the last N days of emails. To set this up, use the 'vgsmail setup' application.
- Speed improvement in incoming message parsing.
This completes my last few major changes I was planning before releasing version 1.0. I will now concentrate a bit on any bugs I've introduced since the relatively major change involved in this release. |

An update is available.
I am now testing the registration code. If you go to the 'about' dialog box you should get a unique device ID. Please let me know if you don't get something like 1234-1234-12. |

| New update includes the SMTP fix for those having authentication problems (probably most Exchange servers). |
