The web address for the login page is the same for both WAP and HTML:
http://www.vgsmail.com/cgi/default.cgi
The script uses the HTTP header to determine whether your client can accept HTML or WML. In other words, under explorer / netscape / Opera, you should see HTML pages; on your phone you should see WAP pages. |

| Anyway you can set up a wap specific address? Just got a smartphone so it goes to the html page but I would prefer the simpler WAP page to load up? |

Not really sure why this didn't make it onto the forum, as it's been available for a while (and implemented after a similar request from someone).
The URL is
http://www.vgsmail.com/cgi/defaultwap.cgi
which will force the WAP page even if your browser is capable of viewing HTML.

Hi Geoff,
That URL is coming up as Access Forbidden on both IE and Opera on the martphone?
Any suggestions?

Anyway you can change the forum to only allow posts when registered! I keep thinking my browser has automatically logged me in!
Anyway, ignore above post! Apres-Xmas blur was causing me to miss out the /cgi/ section!

When using the WAP page as above, is it possible to embed my username & password in the URL to allow me to save a bookmark that logs me straight in?

http://forum.vgsmail.com/viewtopic.php?t=51#256 should work... just replace the default.cgi with defaultwap.cgi if you want to force it into 'WAP mode'. |
