Geoff,

What does the new beta version do with html emails now? Should they now be displayed correctly without the attachments that were coming in with them?

Thanks!!

BTW; it might be worth doing the following, in order to get all the messages in your mailbox synced correctly now:

1) shutdown vgsmail
2) go to Pocket Outlook and delete ALL the messages in your inbox (as vgsmail is shut down, this won't delete the messages on the IMAP server)
3) startup vgsmail and let it resync the whole inbox.

Unfortunatly this build did not fix my HTML problem. Sad I still seem to be having problems with mail sent internally. It still has HTML info in the body of the mail, and an attachment. I'm on an exchange server, 2000 I believe.

I even did what you recomented and deleted the mail while VGSmail was closed and allowed it to redownload. Still had all the same problems as before. Should I Send you a log of this?

I am running Vgsmail on a Treo 700w with WM5. My IMAP email from our corporate server is displaying within Vgsmail with HTML code. Is there a way around this so the code doesn't display and all I see is the message?

Curious about this as well.

I am also trying a program called Pocket X-Press which works very similiar to Vgsmail. With that program when I get messages in HTML the message is displayed sans the images. Has anyone determined my Vgsmail displays the HTML code?

Thanks
David

The latest DEV release should now strip out HTML tags from messages which don't contain text-only MIME equivalents.
