The move this morning went slightly less smoothly than expected, although the server is back up and running. I hope that things will now return to the stable state they were in before last weeks downtime. No further scheduled downtime is planned for the time being.

During the morning of Friday 29th August vgsmail will be down for a few hours whilst the server is relocated. As a consequence of the outage on 22 August, I have decided to completely relocate the server to a new site with two completely independent internet connections, in order to provide a more reliable service. The move is only expected to take about 30 minutes, but to cater for the unexpected, I suggest you consider the whole of Friday morning as 'at risk'.
